Corrections
A correction is when we got something wrong. When a platform changes something, that goes on What Changed instead. Every correction we publish is listed here, permanently, with how long the wrong version was up.
Published corrections
The log starts empty, and stays public once it isn't.
How a correction works
The same steps every time, whoever spotted the mistake.
We fix the record
The wrong figure is replaced on the record as soon as we confirm the right one, with its source and date.
We say what changed
The record is marked, and this page shows what was wrong, what's right, and how long the wrong version was up.
We keep it up
Corrections are never quietly removed. The list only grows.
Spotted a mistake?
Most corrections start with a reader.
Tell us
Email desk@solebrief.com with the link to the page and the sentence that shows the right figure. That's usually all we need.
Correction or change?
If a platform changed its terms after we checked, that's a change, not a correction. It goes on What Changed, and the record is updated the same way.
